All About Oak Wardrobes
When picking items of oak furniture, there are some considerations to bear in mind. About oak wardrobes, the size of the oak piece should be carefully examined, and you need to think about where in the bedroom it is going to be located, and whether or not there will be enough space to locate it. Will the wardrobe provide adequate storage space for your needs? Is the storage situated at the base or top of the oak wardrobe, or is it positioned to one side? Is it outfitted with open shelves or sliding drawers?
Another practicality to consider is the aspect of self-assembly. Our oak furniture for the majority are already assembled, but some pieces such as our wardrobes will require minimal assembly. These parts are completely constructed pieces that just require sitting on top of one another. The central part of the oak wardrobe is going to be the largest, so it’s also worth measuring up your doors, as several older houses have non-standard structures.
The variety of styles of oak wardrobes is significant. All our oak furniture designs are designed in-house complimenting today’s needs but keeping a traditional feel. Our oak wardrobes flatter any bedroom, adding a sense of warmth and vogue, with a variety of wood tones they will mix in well with any colour design. These beautifully constructed pieces of furniture will compliment your bedroom great as part of a set or as a stand-alone feature.
The phrase ‘oak furniture’ does not have the same meaning as ‘solid oak furniture’, so be careful! Oak furniture can be solid oak combined with solid ash, or solid hardwood parts glued together and finished with oak veneer or MDF. All of our furniture is constructed from solid 100% hardwood.
